What amendments has The State Council made to the Regulations on the Implementation of the Tobacco Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China?

Premier Li Qiang recently signed an order of The State Council, promulgating the Decision of The State Council on Amending and repealing Some Administrative Regulations, which will come into force as of the date of promulgation.

Decision of The State Council on amending or repealing some administrative regulations

In order to implement the newly revised Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties, promote strict, standardized, fair and civilized law enforcement, optimize the law-based business environment, and implement the revised Law of the People's Republic of China on Population and Family Planning and other laws, The State Council has cleared up relevant administrative regulations. After cleaning up, The State Council decided:

1. Some provisions of 14 administrative regulations shall be amended.

(ii) Repeal of the Trial Measures for Product Quality Supervision (approved by The State Council on March 7, 1985, issued by the State Bureau of Standards on March 15, 1985, and amended in accordance with the Decision of The State Council on Repealing and amending Some Administrative Regulations on January 8, 2011).

This decision shall come into force on the date of promulgation.
